Social Media Executive (Junior Social Media Manager)

The Role

We are looking for a keen, enthusiastic, and fast-learning individual to join our team as a Social Media Executive. The successful candidate will help grow and support the Tribal Worldwide London social media practice by delivering best-in-class social media content for our clients, as well as assisting our internal marketing team in promoting our own business via social media.

The role will deliver ongoing social media community management – actively connecting and engaging with brand prospects/customers and their posts – as well as developing a constant stream of social media content to showcase our agency’s work, insights & viewpoints.

The successful applicant will show an active interest and aptitude for social media marketing and communication, as well as a broader interest in digital and brand marketing. They will have basic knowledge across all popular social platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn) and be able to talk about current digital & social campaigns, content trends and platform developments with confidence.

The role will be supported by the Head of Social and wider social team allowing great opportunity for development, training, and progression.

Key responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of key clients’ and owned social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Engagement with audiences via active community management and social customer service (likes, comments, replies, shares).
  • Development of content calendars for LinkedIn and Twitter to showcase our agency proficiencies and expertise – including content planning, copywriting and visual concept development.
  • Working with in-house designers and motion graphics teams to create thumb-stopping visuals to publish on social media.
  • Scheduling of content and management of conversations using third-party platforms including ContentCal, Hootsuite and Conversocial.
  • Creative ideation of social content to portray our agency’s vast capabilities, skillsets, and culture eg: team videos, hints and tips, real-time Instagram Stories.
  • Liaising with the agency’s marketing team to understand wider marketing strategy and objectives.
  • Collaborating with wider agency teams to ensure our clients’ global social media presences are streamlined and consistent.
  • Reporting on social media performance – including engagement, click-throughs and reach of published content. Guidance & support to be provided from wider team.

Essential experience:

  • Solid knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter platforms & formats.
  • Good copywriting skills – allowing for development of short, snappy social media captions to accompany our content.
  • Basic knowledge of social media marketing best-practice across the varied platforms
  • Organised, with excellent time management skills and high attention to detail.
  • Confident enough to interact with our follower's posts on behalf of Tribal Worldwide and key brands within our client portfolio.

Beneficial Experience (good-to-haves)

  • Experience with paid media campaigns on LinkedIn & Facebook/IG
  • Design experience and knowledge of Photoshop/Adobe Creative Suite.
