It’s been a busy month here in the Adzuna Intelligence team, and we’ve rolled out a couple of major updates to our labour market analytics platform:
Occupation sector analysis
You can now base your analysis on Adzuna Occupation Sectors in addition to individual, or groups, of occupations. These 29 pre-defined sectors are super useful when you need to look at what’s happening in a broad group of occupations, for example “IT Jobs” or “Retail Jobs”.
Adzuna Intelligence API launched
Do you want to integrate salary data in your application, or supercharge existing BI dashboards with real-time market demand? With our newly launched Adzuna Intelligence API, we’ve got you covered! You can now access all aspects of our labour market data seamlessly through a RESTful API.

What’s next? We’re not easing off the pace as we head towards the end of the year, and have a number of exciting updates and features launching in November and December:
Insight reports
Sometimes pre-defined reports are not enough. Perhaps you want to add additional filtering, exclude specific roles or locations or specify a custom breakdown? Maybe you want to build a bespoke report that you can share with your colleagues and run periodically?
Insight Reports, our powerful boolean query builder, allows you to do all this and more.
Cohorts
Many of us have specific groups of skills, occupations or locations that we use time and again in our analyses. Cohorts is a great time-saving feature that enables you to define these custom groups and reuse them throughout Adzuna Intelligence. You can even share them with your colleagues.
Universal search
Another great timesaver, a single search that allows you to instantly jump into any analysis or saved Insight Report.
Additional statistical areas
We’re increasing the number of UK statistical areas you can base your analyses on, adding ITL2, combined authorities, local enterprise partnerships (LEPs), and parliamentary constituencies.
Further data enhancements
We believe our posting data is the most comprehensive and robust available in the UK – as does the Office for National Statistics who use Adzuna’s data to power its real-time indicators series.
That doesn’t stop us constantly finding ways to improve though. This quarter, we’ve concentrated on improving our UK employer coverage (and SIC code matching), together with a ground-up rebuild of our skills taxonomy.
