We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve just completed a major overhaul of our skills taxonomy, increasing the number of skills in our database from 6,500 to a whopping 22,500. This update, available to our Adzuna Intelligence users from 24th April 2023, is designed to provide more comprehensive coverage of the ever-changing skills landscape, and to better support the needs of our clients who rely on our data to power their economic development, HR and talent management strategies.
But that’s not all. We’ve also introduced a new tagging structure that provides a more flexible and dynamic way to categorise and organise skills. Rather than relying on a rigid hierarchical system, our new tagging structure reflects the real-world relationship between skills and allows for more nuanced and granular classifications, making it easier to home in on the exact skills you’re looking for.
