I’m a Celeb is back, and it’s back down under too! Let’s face it, the novelty of seeing MP, Matt Hancock subjected to endless bush tucker trials has been a huge draw.
ITV has reportedly spared no expense this year, spending a whopping £2.1million on the star-studded line-up. We share what each celebrity is reportedly earning, and what they’d earn in their day jobs too.
Boy George
I’m a Celebrity fee: £500k
George’s day job: Fashion designer
Average salary: £30,000
Starting off the list, Boy George is this year’s highest-paid celeb, raking in a reported £500k for his appearance on the reality show.
The Karma Chameleon star is known as much for his style as his singing and has worked as a designer and artist. Earlier this year, George went digital, releasing a series of limited edition NFTs (one-off pieces of digital art).
As a fashion designer, George would be taking home more than 10x less than he will be making in his few weeks in Australia.

Since retiring, Tindall has gone back to grassroots rugby and is playing and coaching with the amateur club Minchinhampton RFC in Gloucestershire. As a full-time coach, he’d be earning a lot less than his estimated salary of £1 million a year.
